Title: Account modification aborted – Apache Configuration Error
Post by: sajugovind on February 16, 2014, 06:41:33 pm
Account modification aborted, there was a problem changing the user name.

At times when you try modifying an account by changing a username for a domain, the system generates an error that states:
Code: [Select]
“There is currently a configuration error in the Apache configuration file. User name change aborted. Account modification aborted, there was a problem changing the user name.”
This error usually occurs when you access the

Account Functions >> Modify an Account and try to change the username of domain

Solution :

Step 1: Login to WHM
Step 2: Go to Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings
Step 3: Search for “Max cPanel process memory”
Step 4: Select the “Unlimited” option
Step 5: Save the changes
Step 6: Done

Now go back to Account Functions >> Modify an Account and try to change the username of domain, and try replacing the username. This time you shouldn’t encounter the problem.
