Plesk - Tomcat installation

---Steps to install Tomcat in Plesk 10.x and 11.x---

1) Log in to Parallels Plesk Panel with username 'admin'.
2) From the menu on the left, click 'Tools & Settings'.
3) Under the Panel section, click 'Updates and Upgrades'.
4) Click 'Add Components'.
5) Click + next to Plesk hosting features.
6) Select Tomcat Java Servlets support.
7) Click Continue.

Please ensure that the Plesk Power Pack is installed in order to get the 'Updates and Upgrades' option available. If the installation is successful, a message stating "All products and components have been successfully installed and upgraded." gets displayed.

8 ) Close the installer window.
9) After the installer restarts Plesk, log back in to the Plesk Panel as admin.


---Steps to start Tomcat in Plesk 10.x and 11.x---

1) Click 'Tools & Settings' from the menu on the left.
2) From the 'Server Management' section, click 'Services Management'.
3) To the right of 'Server Management', click "Play" to start the Tomcat Server.


---Steps to enable Tomcat for Subscriptions in Plesk 10.x and 11.x---

1) From the menu on the left, click 'Subscriptions'.
2) Click the link for the subscription you need to use Tomcat on.
3) Click Customize.
4) Click 'Show more available resources'.
5) Select allow unlimited applications, or place a number in the field provided.
6) Click Update & Lock.


---Enable Tomcat in Plesk using Autoinstaller---

1) Login to the server using SSH.
2) run "/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller".
3) In the Main components list for Parallels Plesk Panel.
4) Choose Plesk hosting features.
5) Select Tomcat Java Servlets support and complete the wizard.
