Title: Prevent Google to Redirect to Local Country-Specific Searching
Post by: akhils on December 06, 2013, 08:35:39 pm
Hi Guys,

Each time we go to Google, we will be redirected to Google India's page. It’s little bit annoying since the search engine will prefer to show the results from regional Indian sites. Where we need to go to Google.com page rather than being redirected to  country-location-specific google page.

Changing the default language to English won't help with this concern.

The only thing you need to do is only visiting the  Google no country redirect (NCR) url (http://www.google.com/ncr). That will install a cookie that prevents country specific search results. If we want to reset our  browser to enable country redirect feature, only thing we need to do is just delete our google NCR cookies.

Some people couldn’t use the NCR cookie. The way that also works for them is by manually set search engine preferences with : http://www.google.com/search?q=%s url.

I hope it will helps you if you meet the same problem. :)

Thanks for your time  ;)
