Getting following error from hmail server
Error Type: SMTP
Remote server (xx.xx.xx.xx) issued an error.
hMailServer sent: RCPT TO:<emailaddress>
Remote server replied: 550 Sender address rejected: Sending user unknown
The error is due to remote server using sender verification to prevent spam.For each inbound email, it attempts to connect to the sending server and verify that the sending email address actually exists or not.
To fix this,
From RDP, Load the hmail admin --> SMTP options. Make sure allow empty senders is enabled.
With this option enabled, our windows clients should be able to send to any remote SMTP server that has sender verify call-outs enabled.
