Checking Available Diskspace For Windows 2008

Log into your Windows 2008 server via Remote Desktop.
Navigate to the Windows Explorer where you can see the total available space of your drive/s and the total amount of space being used on the server.

Further details can be obtained with Treesize which will show you the amount of space being used per directory Treesize Free can be downloaded by going to http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/.

Once downloaded, double click on the downloaded file. With Treesize Free open, you will need to click on "Scan" and then choose the drive that you want to review.

Once the scanning completed, it will list the disk space usage taken by each folder.

Enjoy   ;)
