Title: Custom 404 Error page on IIS.
Post by: sajugovind on August 23, 2014, 02:57:10 pm
I was trying to configure a custom error page on my domain through IIS. Suddenly I got an error.

Code: [Select]
lock violation  ;(
These are the steps I have succeeded to stick out of the error.

1. Navigate to the root web server name in IIS, and open the Configuration Editor (part of the Administration Pack).

2. Change the dropdown to system.webServer/httpErrors, right-click on defaultPath, and choose 'defaultPath' Attribute -> Unlock Attribute.
