On upgrading Mail Enable to v8.0, I have an issue when downloading attachments in webmail. It asks for valid license key.
The error can be fixed by editing some registry values.
I navigated to the following location using REGEDIT and changed the version number back to 7.56 from 8.00
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail Enable
Additionally:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Registration
Right click on
InstallKey
and rename it to
Install Key
and also in the Value Data you will see RAW:XXXXXX where x is a bunch of numbers there and erased the part that says (RAW:).
Thats it.
