Title: Install front page extension in windows 2008 server.
Post by: Chetan Singh on November 16, 2013, 08:46:02 am
Hi,

Unfortunately,  Windows Server 2008 RTM, and Windows Server 2008 R2 do not provide built-in options to install the FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE). Microsoft realizes that the FrontPage Server Extensions are essential to many Web hosting companies and developers and has worked with Ready-to-Run Software, Inc., to release versions of the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions (FPSE 2002) for IIS 7.

You need to install first Ready-to-Run before install front page extension 2002 for IIS 7.5, and Please note, The RTR FrontPage Server Extensions require an affordable and cost effective license. The RTR FrontPage Server Extensions will install without the license, but the websites will be unavailable until you install and configure the license.

Please refer this link for more information about install  front page extension in windows server 2008.
