Install MailEnable in Windows server 2008/2012

MailEnable's mail server software provides a powerful, scalable hosted messaging platform for Microsoft Windows. MailEnableā„¢ offers stability, unsurpassed flexibility and an extensive feature set which allows you to provide cost-effective mail services.

It can be installed in a windows server with the below steps:

1. Download the installation file "mailenablestandard.exe" and double click it

2. Click Next in the Welcome screen and agree to the Terms & Conditions

3. Select the Components to be installed

4. Provide the Program Files Location (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mail Enable) and click Next

5. Click Next in Program Manager Group window

6. Give a location for MailEnable repository and click Next

7. Provide a Post office mail account details (mandatory) which is to be configured under MailEnable

8. Configure the default MailEnable location to store mail messages, Click Next

9. Configure the SMTP connector configuration by providing domain details, DNS host and SMTP port details and click Next

10. Click Next to start installation

11. Web mail can be configured an IIS virtual directory and this can be enabled/disabled in the next screen

These steps will complete the MailEnable service in Windows Server.
