Title: Set a BIOS password
Post by: Jithin on November 29, 2013, 11:12:45 pm
Hi Guys,

It's a good security practice to password protect your BIOS.

The process varies from machine to machine, but the most common way to access low-level configuration settings is by pressing either [F2] or [Delete]. From there, navigate to the security section and select to set a password; the exact wording for the option to do this will vary from BIOS to BIOS. Don't forget to choose a secure password, either.

Give it a try!
