Handbook of Virtualizor VPS Panel

Virtualizor is a powerful web based VPS Control Panel. It supports OpenVZ, Xen PV, Xen HVM, XenServer and Linux KVM virtualization. Admins can create a VPS on the fly by the click of a button. VPS users can start, stop, restart and manage their VPS using a very advanced web based GUI.

Virtualizor is a License Based Control Panel.

Ports: 4085 and 4084

Virtualizor is a Softaculous Product.

Virtualizor Support three virtualization Type.
   
   1. OpenVZ                 (Only Linux Distro can Install in VPS)
   2. Xen PV and HVM.  (Both Linux & Windows Distro can Install in VPS)
   3. KVM                       (Both Linux & Windows Distro can Install in VPS)

During Installation of Virtualizor we can select which virtualization we need to setup in the Node.

Node is the Main Server where all VPS is residing
   
   Container or VM is the other name of VPS in the Node.

   Master and Slave Concept.
   ---------------------------------------
   Master is the server that  we can Add all the node and manage the each Node from this Master.
   
   Slave is the node that we are adding to the master and each slave consist of Containers(VM).
   
   Master Slave concept is nothing Just for Easy Administration of Nodes from Master.
   

   OS Templates.
   
   OS templates are the Images of OS (Linux, Debian, Windows etc.)
   
You need to download OS Templates in the Node and according to the clients need we need to create the VPS and install the client needed OS and provide the End User Control Panel Login to the client, So that the client can manage his VPS from his control panel.

 
   Requirements:

   Operating System:
   
   CentOS 5.x / 6.x
   Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x / 6.x
   Scientific Linux 5.x / 6.x
   Ubuntu 12.04
   Ubuntu 14.04 (x86 or x86_64)


   Partition:

   Atleast 3 partition needed.
 
   /          ---    20GB+  ext4 partition
   
   Swap   ---    2 times RAM
 
   /vz       ----   Remaining Space in  LVM Partition.



  Installation.
 
  Install Virtualor in the Dedicated Server.
 
  Installation can be done in 3 methods according to the user requirement.

  If user need Linux and windows VPS then install the Virtualizor either with  XEN or KVM
 
  If user needs Linux Only then install the Virtualizor with OpenVZ virtualization.
 
 
 
 1) Installation of Master without Virtualization   http://virtualizor.com/wiki/Install_Master_Server
   
We can install virtualizor without any virtualization. With master we can manage  any number of Slave nodes.  Each  Slave nodes consist of VPS's(Container)

 2) Installation of Slave Server (OpenVZ,Xen Paravirtualization and HVM, KVM) (Below is the methods)

Download client OStemplate to the location in Node ( /var/virtualizor/xen or kvm according to the virtualization)

    Then to extract template run  :

    gunzip TEMPLATE_NAME

    Windows 2003  Admin@123
    Windows 2008  user has to set
    Windows 2012  admin@123

    Then add the template using below link :

    Create IP Pool in the Virtualizor  http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Add_IP_Pool


    Create VPS in Slave(Node) and select the IP, OS and Boot the OS.

   
After creating VPS we can use email address and password for Login to the VPS control panel and you can Manage your VPS from there.
