vzctl start <CID> error : stat(/vz/root/CID): No such file or directory

Hi Guys,

You may faced this issue before.

# vzctl start 1016
Starting container...
stat(/vz/root/1016): No such file or directory
stat(/vz/root/1016): No such file or directory
unable to change dir to /vz/root/1016: No such file or directory
Not enough resources to start environment
Container start failed (try to check kernel messages, e.g. "dmesg | tail")
stat(/vz/root/1016): No such file or directory

You are getting this error because VE_ROOT is missing.

The fix is easy, upgrade the vzctl package to "vzctl 4.6.1" and that added the fix for this bug.
