How to change ASP version from website panel
« on: October 30, 2013, 05:43:03 pm »
Hi,

Website panel is a good control panel which is normally comes with Windows servers. We can control almost all the system services related with server machine. For example if you want to change the ASP version from your website panel, Please go through the following steps

1, Log in to website panel

2, Click on "website" link from the left action pane and select the website

3, Click on the "extensions" tab.

4, You can change the ASP version from the drop down shown near to "ASP.NET" and click update.

Apart from that you can change the different php versions also from that "extensions" window. It is also listed as drop down menu.

Actually when you are changing the ASP version, It is actually editing the ASP version from the web.config and changing the application pool from IIS to "integrated 4.0" . You follow the same steps for changing to ASP version 4.5 even it lists only 4.0.

Along with that, You can enable the ASP,Perl and CGI-BIN also from the "extensions" window by checking the corresponding boxes.

That is it.  8)
