What is retention in cPProtect ?

Retention simply means the number of recent backups kept in the backup destination. Which means if the retention value is 'n' there will be 'n' recent full backups for each account in the backup plan. This makes a difference for incremental and differential backups as they take full backup only once in a week. We consider only full backup for retention, which means the total number of backup kept will be the multiple of retention value and the number of backups days in a week.
