5. How to use Linux Malware Detect Manager (cPanel)

LMD Homepage (Scan):

 

Here we can scan the required directories. Scanning can be done as:

 

* Scan document root of all user accounts.

* Detailed results from Reports page and download option are available.


Click on the Scan button to initiate the scan.

 

You can also view the log of most recent scan in this page.

 






LMD Scan Report Page

 

 

This will list you the list of scan report.

The list scan report with “Date” and “Scan ID”.

Click on the Scan ID and you can view the details of the scan.

Download options for each scan are available

You can also Delete the scan report by selecting the scan reports and click on “Delete scan report”.

 





 

LMD Quarantine/Restore Page

 

This will list the scanned files with Date, Scan ID.

Option for Automatic Quarantine is available for scanning infections.

Option for Automatic Clean is available for removing infections.

Detailed Quarantine reports can be sent to Email Address directly.





 

 

LMD Real Time Monitoring Page

 


Here we can configure realtime monitoring for all Document root and custom path.

You can also set the time interval for the monitoring.







This shows the current status of Monitoring, as enabled or disabled.

The option “Click here to disable” will help you to disable the monitoring.



* Monitoring Interval : Here you can set the monitoring interval in seconds.

 
* Users : Selecting this will disable the custom directory monitoring

  and will start monitoring selected user directories.
 

* Custom Paths: If the “Users” are not selected, then you can set the path.

  This will disable user directory monitoring and will start monitoring the specified custom paths.



Click on Save Changes.
