4. How to install Realtime File Upload Scanner (Plesk)?

Installation of Realtime File Upload Scanner (Plesk)

* Click here to download the  Realtime File Upload Scanner (Plesk).

*From your Plesk control panel do the below steps

# Login to Plesk panel
# Click on Extensions 
# Add Extension 
# Choose file 
# Locate the zip file which is downloaded in the first step
# Click OK




Post Installation Steps

Setup License

* Login to your client area ( https://admin-ahead.com/portal/clientarea.php )

* Find the product and get the license key

* Login to your Plesk panel

* Navigate to extension section and click on  Realtime File Upload Scanner (Plesk)

* Enter your license key and click OK.

mod_security errors

The extension works with the help of mod_security module of Apache. So mod_security is necessary for the extension to work. If you get the below error, then it implies that mod_security is not installed on your server.

Error: mod_security is not installed Click here to install mod_security

You can follow the link to reach the auto installer wizard of Plesk control panel.

Now click on Add/remove components which lists all the components of Plesk panel.Expand the web hosting features and click on the arrow next to "ModSecurity Web Application Firewall for Apache" which will enable the mod_security in the components list.


Now click on continue which will bring you the progress window which shows the mod_security installation status.

Error: mod_security is not enabled. Click here to enable mod_security 

The above error denotes that mod_security is installed but it is not enabled on the server. To enable follow the link and select the Web application firewall mode to ON and click OK.

Error: mod_security is not running in Thorough mode Click here to enable Thorough mode

The above error implies that the mod_security is either running in fast mode or trade-off mode. We need to enable Thorough mode. To enable, follow the link and select the Thorough mode and click OK.
