Sometimes you may see this message from cpanel while clicking on “choose log program”
Stats program is locked out by administrator.
solution: check whether the following options are enabled your whm
WHM under “Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings > Stats Programs”.
Tweak settings >> Stats and Logs >> Allow users to update Awstats from cPanel
Also you need to allow specific users from the location Choose which specific users can modify their web generating software.
