Resetting password using PHPMYADMIN

To reset your password using MySQL database, please, follow the next steps:

- Login to your cPanel

- Navigate to ‘PHPMyAdmin’ menu in your cPanel account

- From the left-side databases list, choose the database which is being used for your Wordpress blog and click on it .

* If you do not remember the name of corresponding database, you may check it in wp-config.php file, which is located in the root folder for your Wordpress installation.

- Click on the “wp_users” table

- You will see your Wordpress users list on this page. Choose the username you need and press “Edit”

- Enter a new password instead of ‘newpassword123’ as shown on the screenshot. Then select MD5 from the drop-down menu in “user_pass” line.

Once the changes are made, press “Go”.

- Try to log in with your new Wordpress password
