Troubleshoot from an Android Device

When you are in a situation that you need to access your Linux server urgently. If you got an Android device on hand you can access the server through it. You install a secure shell app on your device, connect to that server, and troubleshoot.

The installation and configuration of Telnet/SSH client is very simple.

1. Download and Install Telnet/SSH client from Google Play Store

2. You will find a launcher on the Home screen, open the application from there.

3. On the appeared interface fill out the Host Name (or IP address ), Select the Port number, select either Telnet or SSH, and choose portrait or landscape mode.

4. Provide the username and password on the next appearing screen.

5. Tap the Connect button.

You will be able to connect to the server terminal, if everything is right at the server end.
