Warnings on installing SSL certificate in Plesk
« on: February 23, 2015, 11:09:54 pm »
If you happen to come across the following warning on installing the CA bundle for a domain in plesk, please use the following troubleshooting steps.

=========
Warning:CA certificate does not sign the certificate
=========

The most common cause of this error is because, SSL certificate has been enabled on both the IP Address and the domains at the same time in the Plesk control panel. This would result in conflicts upon installing the CA bundle for the domain. During such circumstances, its requested to check if SSL has been enabled under the domains section (Websites and Domains >>Secure your Sites).  Later, you need to check if SSL certificate is enabled for the domain under the section Tools and Settings >> SSL Certificates. If both options are enabled, its reccommended to disable the SSL certificate under this section for the installation to be carried out without any errors.

Thank you,
