Network Issues On Windows KVM

If you are having issues pinging your Server IP, connecting to RDP, or browsing the internet with your VPS KVM Windows machine then please try the following trouble shooting steps:

1) Make sure you are using the correct NIC. You can view the NIC settings in SolusVM. Currently Windows requires the Intel PRO/1000 NIC Card.

2) Make sure your Windows VM is set to IDE for its disk driver, you can view your driver settings in SolusVM

The above two steps will require at least a server reboot, it may also require you to reconfigure the network (this can be found in SolusVM) or possibly reisntalling the Windows template.

If you continue to have issues with RDP or browsing Internet Explorer the following steps may be needed:

1) In your Windows server you will need to allow remote RDP and save the settings.

2) You may need to adjust or disable the default Windows Firewall.
