How to Solve WordPress “Include/fatal” Issue
« on: January 08, 2014, 05:07:41 am »
If you are having an Include Issue, or receive a message that includes “failed to open stream: No such file or directory,” there is a very quick and easy fix!

The full error looks like this:

Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in E:\HostingSpaces\path\website\wwwroot\index.php on line 17

Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in E:\HostingSpaces\path\website\wwwroot\index.php on line 17

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php5\pear’) in E:\HostingSpaces\path\website\wwwroot\index.php on line 17

To fix this error, sign in to your WebsitePanel and follow these easy steps:

1) Click on File Manager

2) Click on Edit Folder Permissions, the Lock Icon, next to the domain that you are experiencing the issue on

3) Find the row with the domain name as the username. Check the Read and Write boxes.

4) Check the Replace permissions on all child objects box

5) Click Set Permissions

That’s it! Your issue should now be resolved!
