The FFmpeg Installer installs FFmpeg and provides a local, non-system installation of FFmpeg with several external encoding libraries. Apart from this it also includes severals relevant codecs and presets required by FFmpeg for transcoding and other FFmpeg functions. The advanced version also includes installation of the php module for FFmpeg which is called FFmpeg-php. This installer has been tested with 3 major video conversion softwares – PHPmotion, Vidiscript and Clipbucket.
CentOS 6.x
Requirements

a. Regular installer
This version of the installer installs FFmpeg 1.2.2 along with other external libraries. The external libraries installed (along with their versions) are as follows:

This version of the installer installs FFmpeg 0.9.1 along with other external libraries. This should be used only in case you plan to use “clipbucket” in your application. This installer is provided separately as “clipbucket” doesn’t work with later versions of FFmpeg. The external libraries installed (along with their versions) are as follows:
