Download A-AST Hardening Suite V 1.0.2
* Login to your remote server via SSH. Change to the installation directory.
For CentOS
# wget http://rep0.admin-ahead.com/sources/aast_hardening/v1.0.2/centos/aast_hardening_installer.sh
* Set execution permission
# chmod +x aast_hardening_installer.sh
* Run the installer and follow onscreen instructions
For Ubuntu
# wget http://rep0.admin-ahead.com/sources/aast_hardening/v1.0.2/ubuntu/aast_hardening_installer.sh
* Set execution permission
# chmod +x aast_hardening_installer.sh
* Run the installer and follow onscreen instructions
# ./ aast_hardening_installer.sh
Setup License
* Login to your client area ( https://admin-ahead.com/portal/clientarea.php )
* Find the product and get the license key
* Change directory to the installed directory
# cd /usr/local/src/aast_hardening
* Run the hardening script along with the license key as follows
# ./hardening.sh license-key
This will register your server with our license key and after successfull verification you can use the below command to run the script.
#./hardening.sh
